Summary: Due to the intermittent nature of revenue receipts, school districts may experience cash shortages at various times throughout the fiscal year. The Placer County Treasurer offers dry period financing to public agencies to accommodate these shortages as they occur. This alleviates the need to borrow from external sources.
Funding: General Fund charges for interest if dry period funding is activated
